The Mamasaur Reviews: Best Toddler Booty-Boosters 2023

Hey there! Some links on this page are affiliate links which means that, if you choose to make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I greatly appreciate your support!

Let my list narrow it down for you when you’re shopping for the best toddler booster seat for your table...

best toddler booster seat for table

Looking for the best toddler booster seat for your table?

Our youngest, Nova, just recently graduated from her high chair. It was an awesome chair, a multi-functional, convertible style high chair that had an accompanying booster seat that Orson used for a while. It was a great, durable chair that I’d recommend to anyone (you’ll find it on this list, in fact), but it got substantial use across our two babies. On top of that, the booster seat was just high enough that it couldn’t clear the table when we would push Orson’s chair in.

Being a stickler, I wanted an upgrade. I wanted to find something that would work well for our table and was inexpensive enough that I could justify buying a pair. Also, I wanted it to not absolutely clash with our decor and still be comfortable for toddler tushies. I wanted the best booster seat for my toddlers (that we could afford) that would fit well at our table. And I wanted something easy to clean because their Pumpkin Bite crumbs can get everywhere.

I did quite a bit of hunting and found some amazing toddler booster seat options that I’ll share with you here!

Best Toddler Booster Seat for Your Table

You could find the BEST Toddler Booster Seat for your table right here on this list! It considers style, form, functionality, whether it’s easy to clean, and price.

1. Graco Blossom 6-in-1 Convertible High Chair

This is the chair that we retired. Until Orson and Nova were both at booster seat stages and this stopped being practical for our dining table space, we never felt the need to replace it. It’s as close to all-in-one as you can get (without getting the Stokke) and is functional for TWO kids at once. Perfect for Irish twins. Once we brought Nova home from the hospital, Orson transitioned to the included booster seat, while Nova was able to use the reclined high chair. And it is cushy comfortable.

2. Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair

*sigh*

If money were no object, this chair is a dream. Not financially feasible for most people if buying two at once, but it is a high-quality investment to be sure. This really is the ultimate all-in-one. It’s super comfortable and supportive, has a fully adjustable seat and foot plate to ensure proper alignment for utmost ergonomic comfort while at the table. It fits infants to adults (holding up to 300 lbs), and it’s beautiful enough to have as a permanent fixture in the home, boasting a multitude of customization options to best fit your decor.

3. Bombol Instant Pop-Up Booster Seat

I’d also buy this one in a hot second for the babies if it were cheaper. It only weighs 2.5 lbs, and it can fold completely flat to the size of a book! This is a perfect, versatile, toddler booster seat, especially if you frequently travel or take your little one out to eat. Made by a small business in France, it is haute and aesthetically pleasing, while still being efficient and comfortably-cushioned. It’s made for infants from 10 lbs to toddlers and young kids weighing up to 75 lbs, and it’s stain and odor-resistant.

4. OXO Tot Nest Booster Seat

Okay, so we’re getting there for a budget-friendly booty-booster. Decently priced, and oh does it look sleek. I had these in my Amazon cart for a while and was tempted. I love how the form of this seat just cradles toddlers with the cushioned high back and sides. Decor-wise, the gray cushioned Nest Booster seats would still be a great option for us, but since the cushion is removable, it would require a bit more work to clean. Still, for aesthetics and ergonomic support, it’s worth mentioning.

5. Hiccapop ErgoBoost Toddler Booster Seat

Speaking of ergonomic support, it’s implied right in the name of this ErgoBooster. This also comes in a decor-friendly gray and white monochrome, has a removable, easy-to-clean, supportive foam cushion, and only weighs 3.5 lbs, making it easy to take on-the-go. It’s also budget-friendly! It’s recommended age max is 3 years old, but it’s been weight-tested and holds up to 250 lbs.

It does boast an easy, “single-motion safety release buckle” intended to make unbuckling your kids with one hand breezy, and some toddlers are even able to unbuckle themselves. This would be perfect for Orson, but I opted against these because Nova isn’t quite at that stage yet, and I wanted a matching set.

6. SkipHop Sleek Seat Booster

This seat is a great budget seat, with one caveat. There’s velcro adhering the cushion to the booster. What that means is that you’ll have to worry about crumbs, unless you try a hack I saw mentioned in the product reviews when shopping around. Toss out the cushion, take off the velcro, then it’s dishwasher-safe! Why is this chair still a contender? It’s super low-profile and compact. It weighs less than 2 lbs, ensuring awesome portability, and the harness is completely removable for older children still just needing a little boost.

7. BabyBjorn Booster Seat

This is reasonably priced, super easy to clean, supportive, and extremely low-profile. It only weighs 1.4 lbs! If we have to upgrade again later, this would be a great option, but it’s intended for kids 3 and up. It would still work really well for Orson (2.5), as he can climb in and out of his booster by himself, and doesn’t really need restraints at this point. However, if, like us, you have a wiggly 18-month old that does need to be strapped in, this isn’t the one for you. I was super impressed by one reviewer that mentioned she even uses these for her 5 and 7 year olds! They are durable, safe, and get the job done!

8. KaBOOST Booster Seat

So, this is a super ingenuitive idea. The booster attaches to the bottom of the chair itself to raise the entire seat. I did consider it, but backed out for two reasons. It wouldn’t be budget-friendly to have to buy two of them, and Nova isn’t quite at the age where I could trust her not to throw herself out of the chair. I could see how it would be so nice to not have to clean an actual booster seat, and it would still clear the table when you push the chair in. Viable option, especially if you only need to buy one and your kiddo is safe enough.

9. Prince Lionheart Squish Booster Seat

Winner-winner for two toddlers’ dinners! This was the best toddler booster seat for our table!

This is the one we chose, and we’ve been super happy with it so far. It’s one of the least expensive on this list, while still having stellar customer ratings. And it’s one solid piece without removable cushions, so it is truly super easy to wipe clean after mealtime. It’s got a 3-point harness and straps twice around the seat of the chair, so it’s extremely sturdy.

It doesn’t clash with our decor, it’s super lightweight, and it’s low-profile, so we can push in the chairs with ease. I also love that they rest back in our dining room chairs far enough that the toddlers can use the actual seat of the chair as a footrest for a more supported and comfortable dining experience.
