I am the Mamasaur

If you’re wanting to learn more about The Mamasaur, you’ve come to the right place!

Hi! I am THE Mamasaur! I’m a 31-year-old stay-at-home mom of three kids, a retired RN, and a very loving (generally-speaking) wife of my animator husband, Nathan. We live in New Braunfels, Texas. For now. My children are awesome…and exhausting. I have a 16-year-old stepson, Coen; a 2-year-old, Orson; and a 1-year-old, Nova. I realized how desperately, with the strain of parenthood, I needed a creative outlet, and thus, this blog was born. 

Interests

There are many interests I have that I’m sure will find their way into my entries. I’m attempting to be a gentle parent and generational trauma cycle-breaker, coping with C-PTSD while raising 3 humans. I enjoy food and wine, working out in VR, and getting new tattoos. I’m also making strides to fulfill a dream of moving onto a sailboat with my husband and our babies. Yep, I’m going to be a homeschooling mamasaur!

I also greatly enjoy writing review content. Therefore, I cover everything from local businesses and restaurants to my favorite products. From time to time, my culinary passions even drive me to create and publish some new recipes for you and yours to enjoy!

Purpose

My purposes for starting this blog are not limited to a singular idea. I love the idea of having an online, electronic journal that I can look back on in future years to see how much I’ve grown and what my family has accomplished. I also love the idea that I may be able to reach someone with relatable, honest, raw, and (hopefully) funny stories that meet them where they are at in their own journeys.
